On Oct. 19, parents of students in each grade attending Dominican Catholic School went to the school to meet with their teachers. This was the first parent-teacher conference of the 2018-2019 school year. Parents met with teachers from 8 a.m. to noon, and 1 to 3 p.m.
Parents go to this event so that they can know how their child(ren) are doing in school. Also, the teachers can talk to the student’s parents about any problems they are having or about their behavior. PTC can help the parents know what subjects their child(ren) need help in so they could help them improve. This also gives a chance for teachers to talk about the student’s social life or issues with friends. Parents can also ask teachers questions if they are unsure of something.
Thank you, parents, for your support in your children’s Catholic education. God bless you all!
