The Go Green event was held at Dominican Catholic School on Oct. 18, 2018, which is a launch for waste management program for the students. Students were reminded that it’s important to save the Earth by reusing, reducing, recycling and recovering. The school was given two trash bins for recycling.

When asked about the event, Ashley Banico, an eighth-grade student, said, “The Go Green project affects the students by teaching them to clean up after themselves. They can also learn how to be clean and to reuse, reduce, and recycle materials.”

Students gather in one place to learn about saving the Earth. Some students were given time to talk to the students about reuse, reduce, recycle and recover. The Go Green event was a great way to teach students how to save the environment.
