Dominican Catholic School received its initial accreditation from Western association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) on May 2010 and was effective until June 30, 2013. On July 3, 2013 the Accrediting Commission for Schools of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) through the recommendation of the Western CAtholic Educational Association (WCEA) Elementary Commission has granted Dominican Catholic School a six-year accreditation for Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 8, effective through JUne 30, 2019

Vatican II Declaration on Christian Education staes:

"Since every man of whatever race, condition and age is endowed with the dignity of a preson, he has inalienable right to an education corresponding to this proper destiny and suited to his native talents, his ses, his cultural background, and his ancestral hertage.  At the same time, this education should pave the way to brotherly association with other people so that genuine unity and peace on earth may be promoted, for a true education aims at the formation of human person with respect to this ultimate goal, and simultaneously with respect to the good of those societies of which, as man, he is a member and whose responsibilities, as an adult, he will share."
