Mission Statement and Goals

Mission Statement

The Dominican Catholic School, an educational ministry in the Archdiocese of Agana, exists to pass on Gospel values and teachings of Catholic Church as Jesus did in the tradition of the Religious Missionaries of St. Dominic.

The School is also committed to :

  • educate the whole person with compassion and integrity
  • dedicate itself to academic excellence, life-long learning
  • the development of the inquiring minds in search for truth and a sense of responsibility, of accountability, of justice and love, for the students.
  • families and society through a value-oriented curriculum

We encourage and support the role of the parents as the primary educators and work in cooperation with parents to achieve our goals.

 

Goals

  • To promote harmonious development of the student’s physical, moral, spiritual, aesthetic and intellectual endowments
  • To guide students to profess and live a Christian value system
  • To cultivate a sense of responsibility and accountability, and of justice and love
  • To develop appreciation and respect for people of diverse culture and religion
  • To promote civic consciousness and particpation in activities that enhances social growth
